But better late then never, that was about to change. When the full demo came out, on November 4th 2008, it gave WDNFRA the title of a band that had the potential to go further. Fans got interested again, impressed by way song were improved. It wasn't professional, but it's the spirit that counted, you could hear the passion behind every single instruments and the hours of dedications.

The band felt like they could do anything and it would suceed, trying to get booked outside of Quebec. For an unsigned band living in Canada, that was no easy step, but they took the challenge. The gigs would take place four months later. The four guys had little time on there hands but they managed to buy there own minibus, packed there things, and with a few friends, also Mat/Fred dad's to help at driving through the long travel. They took the road and it became the first WDNFRA road trip.

When they actually reached Fresno and played there first gig in the United-States with Red Castle Army, people were amased and it was WDNFRA's first time signing autographs, taking pictures, and that really made the whole trip worth it, also the other gig with Savage Machiine. It gave an extra motivation for when they would come back to Canada with a tons of ideas and pockets full of shell, ready to destroy. Thank to those bands!

And so 2009 continued, spending months at the local again to redefine the songs and write some new ones, with the goal of making a first professional album. Mat entered in contact with reknown Pierre Rémillard in June and he accepted to meet the band. A good vibe was set from the beginning, Pierre took care of the project. He did help for the pre-production, recording, as well as the mix & mastering. Having him in there team for the production of there first album was crucial, he had lot of experience, and so much patience toward a band who were at there very first professional experience. It made things so much easier for WDNFRA, they were bad times at the studio, which is normal, but the passion and efforts converted everything into a first kick ass album.
